The purposes of the Florida Council include the following:

To support the goals and objectives of MOAA.
To promote State and National legislation that is in the interest of military retirees, active duty military members, other veterans, and their family members.
To keep MOAA National informed of significant matters in Florida that could affect military retirees, active duty military members, former officers, and family members.
To provide assistance, motivation, and counsel to Florida Council Chapters and Clubs. To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and views among Florida Council Chapters and Clubs.
