Vision

The Halifax Area Chapter will be recognized as a respected and highly effective voice in advocating for a strong national defense and the protection of benefits earned by all members of the uniformed services and their families who currently serve or have served their country.  Chapter service to area veterans and the community at large will be recognized and appreciated.

Mission

To support the efforts of the Military Officer Association of America toward maintaining a strong national defense and preserving the entitlements of all members of the uniformed services, their families and their survivors; to encourage and facilitate camaraderie among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed services who comprise Chapter membership; and to support local veterans and the community at large.

Values

We value all service rendered by veterans who honorably served or currently serve our country.  We value personal integrity among our membership, and the bond we share through our love of country and our fellow comrades.  We value our continuing commitment to serve our veterans, our nation and our communities in ways both big and small.
