CHAPTER HISTORY 

The Venice Area Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, MOAA, (formerly The Retired Officers Officers Association, TROA) was organized and chartered on May 17, 1975.

We cover the following zip codes in Florida:  34224, 34272, 34275, 34285, 34286, 34287, 34288, 34292 and 34293. If you live in one of these zip codes and are not a member, click "Join Us" to see if you are eligible to join.  An application is also available for your submission.

MEETING DATES AND LOCATION

Chapter meetings are held on the THIRD Tuesday of each month (September to May) at 11:30 a.m.  Check the calendar for our next meeting.  We gather at the American Legion Post #159, Venice Avenue and Auburn Road in Venice, Florida.  

SOCIAL EVENTS  

Lunch or dinner socials are held once a month (September to May) and are announced on the last page of our newsletter.  These events are held at various locations within the Venice/Englewood areas.  The last Social of the season (May) is usually a picnic held at the home of one of the members.
