The FMMC is used by the Florida Council of Chapters MOAA Inc, to coordinate and
build legislative influence on military related issue, for MOAA legislative update
retransmissions, and for messages of interest to veterans and others who are not
members of MOAA. Anybody interested in the eight purposes in MOAA’s preamble may
subscribe.
We welcome members of the legislative and executive branches of state and national
government, as well as members of the MOAA staff and national board. The database
is kept confidential, although under normal circumstances we will provide an e-mail
address, mail address or telephone number.
The FMMC operates three nets:
The Council Net is used by council leaders to coordinate with council
and chapter/club members. Because it serves as the electronic equivalent of routine
and special corporate meetings, all council leaders should either be on the net
or maintain an e-mail contact who is a subscriber.
The VetNet transmits traffic of interest to other veterans and
veterans’ organizations as well as to council subscribers.
The MOAA Legislative Net retransmits MOAA legislative updates and
alerts to those who do not wish to receive such traffic directly from MOAA.

The IMMC facilitates interstate, inter-council and inter-association coordination.
Although the IMMC is not a part of the MOAA headquarters, it originates messages
and accepts messages for transmission about issues that will assist the MOAA staff
and national board to further the eight purposes in MOAA’s preamble.
