Lieutenant Colonel John Morrison US Army (Retired),
departed on
his final deployment. He was a valued member of the Palm Beach-Martin County chapter who held
nearly every position in the chapter, including President for three years, then
did several of the jobs again. Simultaneously, he went on to serve as the
President of the Florida Council of MOAA.

In the early
morning Friday, February 22nd 2019, LTC John L Morrison (Ret) succumbed to his
long battle with cancer in Hamden, CT. He passed quietly, comfortably, in
peace and with the love of his family & caregivers. He is survived by
his two children, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, his brother, two
sisters and the countless hearts he touched in his life.
A memorial service
has been tentatively planned for March 11th in Madison, CT. Everyone
he touched in life are welcome to join the family in a celebration of his
life. Details will be sent once the venue has been confirmed.
