

LEE COAST CHAPTER MOAA Purpose:
To promote the
purposes and objectives of the MOAA, an independent, national, non-profit, politically nonpartisan veterans' organization dedicated to maintaining a
strong national defense and preserve the earned entitlements of members of the
uniformed services and their families and survivors. In addition, the Chapter shall foster
fraternal relations among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed
services and their National Guard or reserve components, and serve the
community and nation.
Originating on Sanibel in 1992, this Chapter is an incorporated 501(c)(19) not-for profit nonpartisan organization known as as Lee Coast
Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America; with 100+ members from the Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, South Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach
area. All chapter members hold membership in our 501(c)(3) Lee Coast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America
Foundation, Inc. which provides service to area Veterans, their families and Lee County JROTC. Our chapter is an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and chapter member of the Florida Council of Chapters (FCOC). MOAA and its affiliated chapters and councils are nonpartisan.”
As a result of the widespread closures, including Kelly Greens clubhouse, caused by the damage from Hurricane Ian, our Lee Coast MOAA 2022-23 meeting season was a lunch format at Mission BBQ. We will now resume our dinner-meeting format for the remaining season at 
the Edison Restaurant & Event Center, 3583 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers

Mondays: Feb. 20th, March 20th and April 17th
1800 Cocktail Hour 1900 Buffet Service begins followed by meeting/program

Membership is open to active duty, former, retired, and National Guard and Reserve commissioned and warrant officers of the uniformed services and their surviving spouses.
