Maj. Gen. Bobby G. Butcher, USMC-Ret.

Through his 33 plus year career, MajGen Butcher flew all aircraft in the USMC inventory, except the AV-8 Harrier, including 31 years in the A-4 (Skyhawk). He completed two tours in Vietnam flying 300 combat missions, earning the DFC, the BSM with Combat "V" and 15 Air Medals. Butcher served as XO and CO, VMAT-102; CO, MAWTS-1; AWC, 3^rd MAW; CG, 6^th MEB; J-3, USCINCPAC; and CG, LFTCPAC. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board for the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation, a member of the Board of the San Diego Aircraft Carrier (Midway) Museum, the Coronado Council of USNL, the immediate past president MOAA�s Silver Strand Chapter and he�s a member of �The Golden Eagles.�
